Alex has created music for short films, podcasts, theatrical works, and their fellow musicians. Notable collaborators include Penelope Scott, Simon Fraser University, and The Future Perfect Project. They were also a member of the 2021 and 2022 iterations of the Vancouver International Film Festival Talent Accelerator Program, for musicians looking to work in film & visual media. These skills from VIFF came in handy, as they scored their first short films in 2022: “Fly” and “Twenty Teen,” an independent 24-hour filmmaking challenge and a student film, respectively.
